Women for Excellence, Inc. is a not-for-profit professional women’s organization committed to empowering women through connection, leadership, and growth. We provide resources that support economic prosperity, promote professionalism, foster meaningful networking, and encourage community service.

Founded on December 16, 1996, by former Florida State Senator Maria Sachs, Women for Excellence began as a group for female attorneys and has since evolved into a dynamic network of professional women from all industries and backgrounds. Today, we welcome women in all stages of their careers who are looking to connect, collaborate, and thrive, both personally and professionally.

Each month, our members gather for inspiring luncheons featuring engaging guest speakers who cover topics that matter to women, from business development and leadership strategies to health, wellness, personal growth, and current events.

In addition to our monthly meetings, we host quarterly social events designed to bring members together in a fun, relaxed setting. Past events have included everything from wine tastings and cooking demos to fitness classes, movie nights, and speed networking.
