About Us

“Women For Excellence, Inc. is a not-for-profit professional women’s organization dedicated to providing resources for women to continue to achieve economic prosperity, promoting leadership and professionalism, fostering networking opportunities and being of service to our community.”

Women for Excellence was incorporated on December 16, 1996 by former Florida State Senator Maria Sachs. Originally a group for female attorneys, our organization has evolved into a professional women’s group that welcomes women of diverse backgrounds and careers to share knowledge, network, and grow together professionally and personally. Our monthly speakers bring a wealth of knowledge on subjects that are varied and affect women’s lives. We offer business development ideas and technique, personal growth, medical information, self-help, government issues and updates, and educational updates.

We also offer quarterly fun events for members to meet and mingle after hours in a relaxed and informal setting. Past events have included dining in the dark, movie nights, cooking demonstrations, fitness and self-defense classes, wine tastings, and speed networkings.
